Ekiti 2014: Oshiomhole, Aregbesola, support Fayemi

Edo state governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, and his counterpart in Osun State, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola and the first executive governor of the state, Chief Niyi Adebayo, yesterday appealed to ‘prodigal sons’ in the All Progressive Congress (APC) to have a change of mind and embrace the hand of fellowship offered them by leaders of the party in order to ensure its victory in the next election.
The speakers who spoke in turns in Ado-Ekiti at a ceremony to mark the third anniversary of Dr.Kayode Fayemi, also commended the governor for his achievements since assuming office on October 16, 2010.
Former governor Niyi Adebayo, said Fayemi had been able to fulfill all the promises he made to the people during his electioneering campaign and appealed to the people to return him to office in the next election.
He added “Three years in office, he has been able to fulfill all the promises he made to the people. The next government to my administration since I left office in  2003 is the administration of Dr Fayemi.”
Governor Oshiomhole described Fayemi as a promise keeper who had lived up to the expectation of the people.
He said: “ I am here today to celebrate a governor that is performing, a governor that is determined to move Ekiti from the shackles of poverty and lamentation. Fayemi has moved Ekiti from a state of deficit to positive. Ekiti people have seen that with Fayemi, things are changing.”
Fayemi in his remarks, described the APC as a party of the progressives saying its doors are opened to like minded people to build the country.
