Police arrest ‘One Chance’ syndicate along Gwagwa road

Five persons suspected to be members of a ‘one chance’ syndicate were recently arrested by officers of the FCT police command along Gwagwa-Zuba road.
They were arrested with two car tracking devices, three video players and a Volkswagen vehicle.
Police sources informed City News that the suspects have allegedly operating along Gwagwa-Zuba-Kaduna road and Abaji road for about six years were arrested by the officers while on patrol.
The five suspects, added the sources, confessed that they have been devising several tactics in getting their victims, which involves robbing their passengers and pushing them out of the vehicle.
FCT police spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent Hyelhira Altine Daniel, confirmed the story when contacted, saying the gang has been on the command’s wanted list.
The FCT PPRO said the command was informed of their activities and was on the lookout for them, adding that the suspected criminals informed the police during interrogation that they always use biros and screw drivers for their operations.
The PPRO said that investigation is still ongoing on the arrest.
